Building Inscriptions of Nebuchadnezzar II

Surviving on dozens of cylinders and the lengthy East India House Inscription, Nebuchadnezzar II's building texts argue for his greatness almost entirely through architecture, the Ishtar Gate, the Etemenanki ziggurat, palace fortifications, listing each project as evidence that Marduk's favor could be measured in baked brick.
