2 Thessalonians

Pros Thessalonikeis B

2 Thessalonians insists the day of the Lord has not yet arrived and lays out signs, a great rebellion and a "man of lawlessness," that must precede it, an eschatological timetable some scholars read as correcting 1 Thessalonians' more imminent expectation and others as simply Paul clarifying himself. Its own place of composition is disputed, distinct from Thessalonica, Macedonia, its destination.
